Where you’ll be working
You will join the team’s administration headquarters at The Civic Centre in Twickenham, but your role will also involve being out and about within the local community.
What you’ll be doing
You will be part of a small sports development team responsible for delivering exciting sports programmes such as the London Youth Games, Richmond Inclusive Sports and Exercise Programme (RISE), Mini Marathon, and other programmes.
You’ll be working 36 hours per week. Hours will include a mixture of evenings and weekends at certain times of the year.

What we’ll need from you
We are looking for someone ideally with some experience of working in sports development, but if you have voluntary experience in sport or experience in another area that you think could transfer to sports development, then why not consider applying. You will definitely need excellent communication and organisation skills.
In addition, knowledge of Health & Safety issues and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of service are required.

SO1: Full-time equivalent starting salary £27,960pa
(subject to qualifications and experience).
The fixed term maternity cover contract will run for approximately 10 months until February 2021.
