We are looking to recruit several Customer Service and Ineligible Cases Officers to join our busy dedicated team to be the first point of contact for customers to the Housing and Regeneration Department and to manage a small caseload of ineligible households including those with no recourse to public funds.
Dealing with a complete range of housing enquiries – whether tenants, leaseholders or those seeking a home, you will understand the importance of providing excellent customer care to all sections of the Council’s diverse community. You will also be responsible for the assessment, accommodation and subsistence support of a caseload of clients who are subject to No Recourse to Public Funds.
Customer Services and Ineligible Cases Officers will offer flexibility, commitment and enthusiasm as well as having excellent teamwork skills. You will need to be competent in the use of IT packages and have excellent administration skills. Experience of working in a busy public facing role is essential. Knowledge of housing legislation would be beneficial but is not essential.
