Join us and lead our building control section working on a range of major projects from initial enquiry to completion. As well as mentoring and guiding the building control team, you will also be hands on in applying building regulations. This includes carrying out site inspections, maintaining records of work in progress and working in partnership with the public, architects, designers and builders. You will also work collaboratively with other area teams to further the success of our established partnership, and deliver building control services that are built around the needs of our customers.
As well as being a full member of RICS, MABE or equivalent, you will have experience of larger projects and a comprehensive knowledge of Building Control legislation. Just as important is an understanding of the importance of delivering excellent customer service. You will also share our dedication to providing consistently high quality in everything we do by bringing a collaborative approach, great people skills and working proactively on your own initiative.
Good ICT skills, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as well as a flexible approach to working hours are also essential.
