We currently have two opportunities to work within our dynamic Customer Services Team, currently based in the Town Hall. The successful applicants will be dealing with customers over the telephone on a wide range of matters including Waste and Recycling, Housing Benefit and Council Tax to name a few.

There is opportunity to further develop and deal with face to face enquires at our help points in Bexhill, Battle and Rye.

Our Customer Service Team deal with complex information and work under pressure in a fast moving environment. The nature of this role is challenging but also rewarding for the right candidate, as no two days are the same. Applicants will have previous experience in delivering excellent customer service and have the ability to actively listen, be empathic and show patience whilst finding resolution to customer needs. Full training will be provided.

The hours for both posts are as follows:

Post 1 – 37 hours per week

Monday to Thursday

8.30am – 5.00pm

Friday

8.30am – 4.30pm

Post 2 – 23.5 hours per week

Monday

9.00am – 4.30pm

Tuesday

9.00am – 2.30pm

Thursday

12.00pm – 5.00pm

Friday

9.00am – 4.30pm
