We currently have vacancies in our West Surrey AMHP Team based in Guildford for Approved Mental Health Professionals. These posts offer exciting opportunities to help us provide a multi-disciplinary service, raise social work standards and promote social inclusion.
We are looking for enthusiastic qualified Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHP) who will be responsible for undertaking statutory duties as part the Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) service covering West Surrey.
We will offer clear professional leadership and great opportunities to develop your career. You will have regular supervision and be responsible for your own personal training in order to maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health issues.
To join us, you should have a Professional Qualification in Social Work and Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) status with post qualifying experience that should include direct work with those who have mental health needs. In addition to this, you should have a working knowledge of legislation, assessments, preparation of care plans, monitoring and reviewing outcomes. You should also hold a current full driving licence and have use of a vehicle to undertake this role.
Essential criteria for the role:
- Maintain personal Approved Mental Health Professional status (Warranted)
- A DBS clearance is required for all Mental Health roles
