Salary: £30,141 - £31,772 per annum, pro rata

The Business Employment and Skills Service (BESS) is looking to recruit within in it’s Tutor Team. BESS provides opportunities for adults to get involved in learning within the community. In particular, we aim to work with people who have not achieved a level 2 (or equivalent) qualification and/or are unemployed.
As a Skills for Life Tuor you will play an integral role in the experience of our learners. You will be working in partnership Learning Support Assistants and under the guidance of a Curriculum Lead, you will be responsible for desiging and delivering skills for life courses which will allow learners to develop their educational and social skills and knowledge, whilst also working to maintain a safe, inclusive and secure learning environment. You will also be using your skills, knowledge and experience to enhance the learners overall learning experience.
To apply for this role you should possess experience of working in as a Tutor in addition to possessing at least a Level 5 Teaching qualification. You should have a knowledge and experience of working with a variety of learner needs; in addition to being able to communicatite effectively, be a proactive problem solver and capable of working upon your own initaitve to support the delivery of high quality learning support which effectively meets the needs of our learners.
