Adopt London West Regional Adoption Agency

 

Adopt London West RAA is a new partnership service comprising the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow and hosted by the London Borough of Ealing.   The service will recruit adopters and family find for children across our partner agencies.   We will also offer support services to adoptive and special guardianship families.

Every child has the right to a safe and supportive family life. Adopt London West aspires to promote best practice across its adoption and special guardianship support services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior social worker to join the Adopt London West Service in the Recruitment and Family Finding Team.   We seek a social worker with experience of adoption, who is committed to innovative practice and assuring the best possible outcomes for children and adoptive families.

You will be passionate about what you do and committed to driving forward early permanence for children and meeting the required timescales for the approval of prospective adopters.

Working closely with other professionals and child care social workers across the Adopt London West Region, you will be able to undertake assessments to a high standard and to family find creatively for children with complex needs to ensure that plans for them are progressed.

You will hold a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.

The post holder will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and Ealing's enhanced vetting process.
