Job Title: Deputy Team Manager - Adult Disability Service
Location: Based at Farnham House, Stevenage
Salary Range: £42,683 progressing to £45,591pa
Hours: 37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Deputy Team Manager in our Welwyn & Hatfield Adult Disability Team. The role will require you to assist the Team Manager to operationally manage the day to day operations of the team. You will be a registered Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Nurse.
The role is responsible for ensuring that all statutory health and social care responsibilities are met and delivered to a high standard including safeguarding, assessment, supervision and care management functions.
Over the last year the service has undergone a programme of cultural shift to ensure a true delivery of personalisation and citizenship through our Connected Lives initiative. The role will be crucial in leading the team to develop and build community links and ensure full and innovative delivery.
You will be undertaking this role in a period of significant change and pressures placed on the delivery of social care. The role is part of an incredibly innovative and supportive service that strives to ensure that Hertfordshire people don’t just have their needs met but are listened to, supported to be respected and included citizens within our local communities.
