The Council recently established a new £3 million district-wide High Streets Fund which is open to applications from individuals and organisations for projects that will revitalise our high streets and make them fit for the future. This fund is being administered in the Economic Development team which is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support for this and other economic development initiatives being led by the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of managing the district high streets fund, including its promotion with partners and on the corporate and Folkestone works website, supporting potential applicants through the application process, administering and initially assessing applications, organising Decision Panel meetings, establishing agreements with successful applicants and supporting the delivery and promotion of successful projects.
