About the service

Commercial & Operational Support Service provides critical support services to; highways maintenance, waste & recycling, neighbourhood services, parks management, bereavement, home to school transport, by providing materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment. Along with delivering services such as fleet services, pest control, car parking & enforcement with a team of 70+ people & a gross budget responsibility of c£18m.
We’re looking for someone who will play a key role in the Business Unit Management Team. You will be able to demonstrate that you are an experienced confident leader with a clear respect for people. Ideally you will have experience of; delivering and supporting front line operational services; supply chain & contract management; partnership working; strategy deployment; performance management; business planning and managing and overseeing service improvement / change programmes.
