Home-Start Bracknell Forest seeks an experienced, self-motivated person to join their small friendly staff team, to provide a wide range of administrative support from our office in Bracknell. The role will include supporting the staff who are working with families and volunteers, communicating (directly and via social media) with existing and potential supporters, assisting with financial matters and organising events
Home-Start Bracknell has been providing targeted early intervention to struggling families for the past 26 years. We recruit, train and support volunteers from the local community who help families to build on their strengths and increase their potential to make changes to improve their lives.
You are a talented Administrator who is proactive, organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated. You are a competent and confident communicator with relevant administration experience and a flexible attitude to your role. You are looking for a role where your ability to work independently, managing all office functions will be valued; the benefits of working in a small dedicated team appeals to you.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong administrative skills
- Good knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience of financial processes
- Social Media and Website development experience
- Ability to work on their own
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tact, diplomacy and judgement
