Wokingham Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is recruiting two full-time Educational Psychologists from September 2020 (or sooner).
Wokingham has a reputation for excellence and high achievement in schools. The EPS is a small friendly team that is always seeking to improve our service. We have a well-established consultative model of service delivery that values the application of psychology, innovative practice and professional integrity. Working in partnership with families and colleagues is important to us. As well as supporting the LA in fulfilling its statutory duties in relation to SEND legislation the EPS has a key role in developing and delivering training to education colleagues and other stakeholders. We are excited about our developing role in supporting the LA to meet the needs of children and young people who present with mental health needs in schools. We lead our Mental Health Support Team. We strive to give our colleagues a range of work and welcome applications from colleagues who have or wish to develop specialist interests.
Applications are invited from qualified Educational Psychologists or those who will complete their professional training by September 2020 – Who are registered with the Health and Care Professional’s Council and whose qualifications as an Educational Psychologist are recognised by the British Psychological Society.
