The post is based within the Admissions and Inclusions Team where there is a strong ethos across the service with everyone working together in support of vulnerable children and young people.
Inclusions Officer (Bids/Projects)1 Year Fixed Term Contract/Secondment Opportunity
Grade 5-£27228 -£30213 per annum.
The post holder will play a key role in supporting and delivering highly effective Admissions & Inclusions service, as we work to improve the educational outcomes for children and young people.
They will be responsible for processing and writing bids for external funding, supporting, evaluating and reporting on projects and monitoring and gathering evidence for Electively Home Educated and other pupils.
The post holder will use data to analyse the impact of bids and projects and support the effectiveness and sustainability of programmes for vulnerable pupils and those pupils who are at risk of exclusions and/or Child Criminal Exploitation
They will maintain current ICT platforms and further develop systems that support the work of the Admissions & Inclusions Team and contribute towards the development of the Alternative Provision Traded Service
Knowledge, skills and experience with:
A background in education, the successful candidate will possess a firm knowledge of current education policy and practice and have the ability to apply child protection legislation to working practice.
Excellent communication skills will be essential to their success and ability to work as part of the team and develop effective and sustainable working relationships.
The post holder will have good knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Office along with skills in data analysis using Pivot Tables.
