Working as part of a team, you will deliver excellent customer service to library customers, ensuring all information, services and resources are available and promoted to members of the public.
The post holder will work as part of a team, to help make the resources of the library and information service available to all customers, including those at a disadvantage. S/he will be required to deliver a high level of customer service by assisting members of the public, delivering Library based events and supporting the Library Manager with outreach activities.

Hertfordshire County Council have awarded the contract to deliver the Library Service to Libraries for Life, an independent organisation with charitable status. The proposed transition to Libraries for Life will take place on the 1 April 2020. Contract start dates after the 1 April 2020 will be employed on Libraries for Life terms and conditions.
