About the role

 

We are looking for an organised, pro-active and self motivated person to join our busy Payroll Team which is responsible for paying Brighton & Hove City Council employees.  The role will involve duties to ensure that data is entered onto the payroll system correctly and in time to meet weekly and monthly payroll deadlines.  Previous payroll experience is preferable but not necessary as training will be given in the use of our systems and processes.  Confidence in the use of online computer packages; mathematical skills alongside the ability to use spreadsheets; and strong customer service skills are a must.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
