We are now looking to recruit a Senior Adaptations Officer who will manage the Council’s Home Adaptations Team, promote take-up of Disabled Facilities Grants and oversee the delivery of our well-funded Disabled Facilities Grants programme.
Reporting to the Private Sector Housing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Home Adaptations Team meets or exceeds all performance targets, regulatory requirements and delivers exceptionally good customer service.
To meet the requirements of this vital role, you will need to be an excellent team player, a good motivator and be able to act on your own initiative. You must also possess the skills and experience to provide detailed technical advice and guidance on the legislation and financial assistance relating to Disabled Facilities Grants.
As well as possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will have an excellent track record of successfully managing and motivating a team and delivering excellent customer focused services that provide value for money.
