We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Housing Needs and Standards team as a Senior Caseworker.

Housing Needs and Standards provides a range of different services, including the management of temporary accommodation and privately rented properties.

You will be investigating, managing and seeking positive solutions on complex tenancy management cases, including anti-social, safeguarding, tenancy complaints. You will also be responsible for overseeing the letting of temporary and privately rented accommodation, supporting a number of caseworkers carry out these activities.

Knowledge and experience in tenancy management are essential, as is a thorough working knowledge of tenancy law.

To be successful you will be a good communicator and able to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners. You will also need an eye for detail, have good investigation, critical thinking and decision making skills and be able to adapt and manage a demanding workload.

You will be required to work from our Lewes, Eastbourne and Newhaven offices, subject to the needs of the service.

You will have access to external and internal training and have the opportunity to become an expert in a specific field (e.g. anti-social behaviour) as you progress in your role.
