The Parking team delivers all aspects of parking with the exception of City wide and sub-regional transport planning parking strategy.
Your New Role
The duties listed may require an early start (before 0700) and late finish with regular Sunday and bank holiday working.
You will be responsible to the Technical Supervisor for secure cash collection duties.
Undertake cash collection duties as directed by the Technical Supervisor and with the use of back office systems determine which machines require collection from.
Assisting the Technicians with their duties as directed by the Technical Supervisor.
Driving the appointed vehicle and loading/unloading heavy cash box’s to return to the Cash Room, Civic Offices.
Be responsible for the safe keeping and accounting of monies in transit.
The official staff uniform must be worn at all times whilst on duty.
What you'll need to succeed
Have a customer focused approach to work
Hold a current driving licence and is legally able to drive.
Has good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as appropriate.
Be physically fit and able to lift heavy coin boxes
