Salary: £63,064 - £66,379 per annum pro rata (scales points 25-28) up to £69,744 at point 31

Here in Children’s Services, we’re determined to help all children fulfil their potential. As School Improvement Adviser, you will work collaboratively across all our schools in Central Bedfordshire to ensure all our children reach their potential.
In this key role, you’ll support the work of the School Improvement Service. You’ll work closely with schools and their leaders, implementing relevant strategies and best practice.
To join us, you’ll need a background gained in a school or local authority setting. It is important that your experience includes time spent as a headteacher – and that you have a proven record of leading school improvement. You can therefore inspire others, promote continuous learning and build strong, productive relationships. Knowledge of safeguarding legislation regarding young people will also be essential.
