Can you help make a big difference to improving health and wellbeing in Harlow?
Harlow Council is seeking to appoint a Public Heath Practitioner to join our thriving, diverse Community Wellbeing team. Your role will help us to reduce health inequalities and to improve health outcomes for all Harlow residents. You will be working across our organisation and with a wide range of external partners to ensure that we co-ordinate and target our activities to meet health and wellbeing priorities. You will also be required to work with key Health & Wellbeing stakeholders, Essex County Council (ECC) and Mid-Essex Clinical Commissioning Group. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Essex-wide Health Improvement Officers Network.
You will be professionally supported in this role by the Essex County Council Public Health Consultants, and you will be part of Essex-wide Health Improvement Officers Network, which meets regularly to ensure that good practice and knowledge is shared, and used to “scale up” local projects and activities.
Do you have the technical ability, experience, drive and commitment to join our local team in delivering this agenda? If you can help us better understand the challenges we face and help us to deliver our ten year strategy then we would like to hear from you.
This is a fixed term contract until 31/03/2021 with the possibility of an extension.
