SOLD (Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development) offers year round outdoor learning experiences to children, young people and adults. Our staff deliver a range of programmes including land based, water based and residential programmes to our visitors. Our Catering and Domestic Team provide our visitors with healthy nutritious meals, refreshments and snacks. We also cater for corporate groups, special events and outdoor catering, whilst ensuring all buildings and accommodation are clean, prepared and ready for our groups.
As a Catering and Domestic Supervisor you will lead a small team on a day to day basis, liaising with internal customers and work colleagues to deliver a high quality catering and domestic service.
To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence:
- Experience of catering in a variety of settings
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- Craft Qualification NVQ L2 or equivalent
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Good team working skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

Due to the nature of the role, hours worked will include day time, evenings, mornings and weekends.
We are looking for a catering and domestic supervisor to cover work across our busy three centres. The centres are located at:
- High Ashurst OEC, Mickleham, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6DQ
- Henley Fort OEC, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 4RH
- Thames Young Mariners OEC, Richmond, Surrey, TW10 7RX
You must be able to travel to all centres as business requires. High Ashurst and Henley Fort are in remote locations. It is highly recommended that you carefully consider your transportation arrangements before applying for this role.
- Approximate hours of catering shifts are 7am - 12pm and 3pm - 8pm
- Approximate hours for housekeeping shifts are 9.30am - 2.30pm
- Flexible working required 7 days per week.
