You will join a small friendly team working closely with all areas of IT & Digital Service.  You will be involved in developing and producing a range of reports for governance boards.  You will be liaising with different levels of the organisation to ensure all stakeholders reporting requirements are met.  You will work closely with programme and project managers to ensure projects are being delivered within time, cost and quality constraints.  You will help grow IT & Digital Service portfolio and project management procedures and will develop guidance, maintain PMO systems, and provide one-to-one training as required.  You will be competent in a range of IT tools, involved in producing clear documentation, setting agendas and taking minutes.

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience working in a busy office environment providing programme/project management Organisation (PMO) support to complex change programmes/projects within a large organisation. Experience of working with ICT programme/project management frameworks in essential. Your organisational skills will be second to none, and able to work under pressure.  You will be proficient at using MS Office and easily adapt to learning new systems. You must also be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and have the ability to work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a pro-active positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a focus on meeting deadlines. In addition, you will be able to quality check documentation to support more senior members of the team in meeting service standards and effecting continuous improvement.

Brighton & Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council and Surrey County Council collaborate on a number of business services and therefore the successful post-holder needs to be flexible in terms of working across these organisations as demands arise.
