We are currently looking to recruit a permanent 3rd line engineer with a background in Infrastructure based networking. This would include installation, configuration and migration of Servers, Installation and refresh of: Switches, Wi-Fi technology, Printers, UPS and other associated types of hardware.
The successful applicant will also have a solid background in, or an aptitude for: Desktop and Server Operating systems, both installation and upgrade. Experience in O365, Redstor, Veritas and VMWare a distinct advantage. Desirable but not essential is a good working knowledge of GSuite, AWS, and Azure services.
A working knowledge of schools MIS systems I.E Capita Sims etc., and any experience in Local Government and/or schools also an advantage.
We have a hard working team which thrives on tackling new issues, learning new technologies, and helping and mentoring each other, an emphasis is placed on staff growing within their role. Personality, and a willingness to complete a task goes a long way.
The role covers both internal Staff support, and is also customer facing within the schools, and Children’s centre environments. Therefore customer service qualities are essential, as Is, a desire to complete tasks fully, to exceed customer expectations.
A car is not essential as Hackney is well served by public transport. Enhanced DBS required, the successful candidate will be DBS checked.
