We are looking for a self-motivated Contract Monitoring Support Assistant to undertake general administrative duties in support of the Exchequer Team and wider Finance division.
Based in the Civic Centre you will support the Council’s contract management processes ensuring that the Council’s contract is delivering best value by monitoring and testing performance and efficiency. You will provide administrative support in collating management information, general administration and helping to ensure that efficient running of the section.
You will have experience in undertaking administrative duties, processing and payment of invoices, contract monitoring and arranging meetings and compiling agendas. You will also require the following skills and abilities: ability to organise and prioritise your workload, communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, deal with sensitive/confidential information in a professional manner, deal with irate or upset customers on the telephone and take notes at meetings. You will also have knowledge of financial systems and controls and standard Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
