Gravesham Borough Council are looking for a street cleansing operative to help keep Gravesham rubbish and litter free. You will work as part of a team undertaking a range of specialist tasks including
- Manually sweeping and litter picking of streets and open spaces
- Removal of dumped rubbish
- Empting of litter and dog bins
- Clearance of leaves, weeds and other debris
- Collection of domestic refuse and recycling
- Other cleansing duties such as graffiti removal
Full clean Driving Licence
To have a knowledge of the borough
To be able to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to prioritise tasks
Good communication skills
Valid Driver CPC card
Previous experience in this field
Driving licence category C1 holder
Experience of manual outdoor work
