Do you find it motivating to lead change and business development? Have you the skills we need to transform a unique heritage site into a thriving business?
Chester Farm Heritage Park will become an exciting and nationally significant heritage asset. Located adjacent to the River Nene and A45, the site is being developed into a multi-use visitor and learning destination that also offers commercial opportunities to transform the overall operation into a successful business venture.
The Business Development Manager is the new post that will make all this happen. Leading and motivating the dedicated staffing team, you will understand and have experience of setting up new business ventures, including development of market reach and stakeholder engagement locally, regionally and nationally.
Innovative, positive and forward-thinking, as the Business Manager you will shape the brand and the multi-faceted offer through the transitional phase to 'business as usual'. Commercially and financially astute, you will lead and develop the existing business plan, ensuring National Lottery Heritage Fund outcomes and financial imperatives are addressed. Skilled at communication and advocacy, you will report to senior management and promote the project to elected members, stakeholders and wider regional and national audiences.
