Contract: Maternity Cover
An opportunity has arisen for an interim Senior HR Business Partner to join the Organisational Development Team to cover a maternity Leave commencing in April 2020.
You will manage the delivery of an effective customer focussed Organisational Development Service as well as get involved in Key Strategic Organisational Developmental Projects.
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior HR Business Partner to work closely with Senior Leaders and managers to provide strategic and operational HR advice and support on a wide range of employment related matters to support business needs.
You will contribute to and support the implementation of the O.D. Strategy to improve service delivery through effective Organisational Development interventions and Human Resource Management.
You will also be responsible for:
- Leading and contributing to the development and implementation of key strategic authority wide and service specific projects and policy initiatives in line with key priorities.
- Leading on the management of HR systems including the development of the integrated HR / Payroll management information system (ITrent), you will work as part of the Project Team, ensuring that the Service secures business efficiencies.
- Managing a range of contracts including the Occupational Health Service to include liaison with the service providers, developing and improving service delivery.
- Enabling and supporting transformational change projects, and actively engage in workforce planning and development to anticipate and respond to future service requirements.
Educational attainments essential for this position are CIPD level 7 or equivalent together with relevant experience of working in a HR service, demonstrable experience of working in a multi-disciplinary organisation and experience of delivering cross-cutting projects.
Experience of working with senior management and trade unions is also essential, along with a sound knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
The position is an approved Casual Car User therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
