Personal Assistant required for a young lady with Cerebal Palsy, is in a wheelchair and suffers with lower limb issues. The individual can mobilise on and off the toilet and bed with minimal manual handling required. The individual lives in Crown Wood, Bracknell.
The successful candidate will be required to provide the following:
Morning calls around 6.45am/7.00am for 45 minutes to assist with personal care. Days and times to be agreed between the individual and the Personal Assistant.
Week 1 - Four mornings
Week 2 - Four mornings including weekends
Week 3 - Two mornings
Toileting calls during the day which are currently 15 minutes in duration, Monday to Sunday. Days and times to be agreed between the individual and the Personal Assistant.
Evening calls around 10.00pm for 30 minutes working on a three-week rota which is currently as follows:
Week 1 - Monday, Thursday and Friday
Week 2 - Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and possibly Friday
5 hours a week for social activities. The social activities are anything from going shopping (not just for groceries), going to the cinema, arts and crafts, going for a coffee etc.
You may be required to cover when other PA’s are away.
Rates of pay are £9.00 an hour Monday to Sunday for the morning, toileting calls, £11.68 an hour for Sunday and £10.18 for the evening call.
