Are you passionate about local heritage?  Are you fantastic at managing projects?

 

Blaby District Council has been successful in securing funds from the Heritage Lottery Fund to deliver an exciting heritage project at Bouskell Park in Blaby. The project will restore an existing Ice House (this dates back to 1843) and to deliver a community archaeological dig.

 

The successful candidate will be working with a range of partners from local universities to contractors on site.  The role requires good people skills, excellent project management skills and the ability to engage the local community in this unique project.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work and learn about our local heritage, build on your project management skills and to work on a high profile Heritage Lottery funded project.

The Main Council Offices are in a lovely little village called Narborough in Leicestershire which is just 3 miles from the M1, junction 21 and not far from the centre of Leicester. The local train station is only a 5 minutes walk away and there are regular bus links to and from the city centre.
