In 2019, the Finance section underwent a restructure with the aim to provide sufficient staff in system related roles, promote empowerment of staff, ensure future succession planning, and build additional resilience for accountancy and service to clients.
We are now looking for a driven and positive individual to join our busy finance system team based at the main Council Offices at Argyle Road in Sevenoaks. You will need to be able to work accurately under pressure, have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
You will need to occasionally work slightly outside of normal office hours so a willingness to take a flexible approach to your duties is essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Processing income from the bank and other sources
- Outstanding Customer Service
- Knowledge of Agresso or other large accounting system would be useful but is not essential as training will be given.
