Salary - Main Grade: £28,785 to £31,370 + r&r package of £5000 over 6 years. Higher
Grade: £34,787 - £38,813 p.a.

1 x 18.5 hours per week, permanent
1 x 37 hours per week, temporary/secondment opportunity for up to 9 months or until substantive post holder returns (part time will be considered)

Your New Role
We are seeking qualified and suitably experienced Social Workers to join our Fostering Service. This is an ideal opportunity to develop specialist knowledge within the fostering sector. You will have the autonomy and responsibility to really make a difference.
We currently have opportunities for social workers in the following areas:
- assessment of 'connected persons' as both foster carers and Special Guardians (permanent post)
- support and supervision of mainstream and 'connected person' foster carers/assessment of mainstream foster carers (temporary post)
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified social worker and be registered with the HCPC. You will have suitable post qualifying experience in children and families work - experience of working with looked after children and foster carers would be an advantage and an understanding of models of therapeutic parenting.
