We are looking for an ambitious, innovative individual, to help lead a team of 9 members of Staff in our Revenue Service, and create a culture that drives high levels of customer satisfaction; a value for money ethos; and provide an internal resource of specialist and practical legislative knowledge in Business Rates, Council Tax, and prevention of Fraud.
This is a varied and rewarding role and you will be responsible for creating new opportunities for tax base growth in both Business Rates, and Council Tax
To be successful in this role you will need to be a member of a relevant professional body and possess an appropriate professional qualification such as IRRV, CIPFA; a part qualification will be considered. Experience in Revenues administration, or a similar environment is important. The successful candidate will be proactive, adventurous, and creative, have a proven track record of achievement and have excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence, inspire and motivate others at all levels.
