Bereavement Service Assistant
Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week)
Salary: £20,615 per annum
Are you a team player? Do you have a kind and sympathetic nature? We have a very unique role, and an opportunity to appoint a Bereavement Service Assistant at the Kent & Sussex Crematorium which is owned and operated by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
The Council currently provides services and facilities for some 2100 cremation services each year as well as 50 burials and we are looking for someone to be part of our dedicated and caring team providing the highest level of customer service to bereaved families, visitors and stakeholders.
You will need to demonstrate excellent experience of office administration, ideally in a similar service environment, and possess kind and caring customer service and inter-personal skills. As well as being IT literate and comfortable with technological change, you will need to possess a highly flexible and organised approach to the role at hand.
Whilst being a great team player and possessing a ‘can do’ attitude in all you encounter, you will also require significant attention to detail, coupled with an ability to work with minimal supervision.
Your working hours will be 08:30 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday
08:30 – 16:30 Friday
37 hours per week
