An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us at North Somerset Council as a Domestic and Sexual Abuse Co-ordinator on a permanent basis.

 

Providing a multi-agency response to domestic and sexual abuse is a key part of the work of the North Somerset Safer and Stronger Partnership. We are committed to preventing abuse, increasing levels of reporting and improving the range of joined-up support services for victims and children as well as working with perpetrators. To help us drive this work forward, we are seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active individual with excellent communication and organisational skills who can work closely with internal partners such as children’s and adult social care as well as external partners such as the police and housing providers.

 

You will need significant related work experience and experience of working in partnership and engaging with key stakeholders. You will have experience of project management and evidence of identifying and bidding for funding.
