SCALE NS11 – £31,371 to £32,878 p.a.
Plus Market Supplement of up to £3,000
The Council is looking to recruit three suitably skilled and experienced individuals to assist the Asset Management & Parking Services Business Unit with the management of the Council’s land and building assets. This will involve providing a comprehensive surveying service in the management of the maintenance, improvement and renewal of all assets. New graduates are also encouraged to apply and the Council will support further training and development.
The successful applicants will have experience in building surveying activities including site inspections, condition surveys, assisting in preparation of specification and tenders and procurement of contractors including project and financial management. The candidates should also demonstrate experience of all legislative requirements and procedures including legionella, fire emergency and access plans. However, graduates are also encouraged to apply and the Council will support further training and development.
The successful candidates will support delivering a service to customers efficiently and will have the opportunity to generate income in both the public and private sector. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and be able to use the full suite of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel.
They should possess good interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to work flexibly as part of a small team taking ownership of work, outcomes and problem-solving throughout the District.
