The Technology Business Analyst provides transformation advice, guidance and support to the organisation. The post holder supports the Council in achieving its Smart Working objectives through the effective use of technology as well as the adoption of a 'digital by default' approach to transformation.
They will support complex, organisational redesign projects and lead on and contribute to multi-disciplinary and multiple project teams to deliver organisational and cultural change across the council.
They will identify areas for improvement in terms of process and efficiency and develop effective digital solutions to deliver that improvement. Examples of this include application migration to Windows 10, mail migration and telephony data gathering, in-depth technical discovery on Office products, telephony, mailboxes and applications packaging and testing as well as confidently mapping the 'As Is' process and 'To Be' process design for a range of services and products.
The post holder reports to the Technology Transformation Manager and will work closely with the Smart Working Programme Team, and all users across the organisation.
