We have raised the anti-fraud profile of the borough with our aim of continuingly deliver and promote an anti-fraud and corruption culture throughout the authority through awareness and training in order to deter, prevent and detect incidents of fraud.
The council wants to maintain its proactive approach ensuring ABC is effectively reviewing and acting upon the current Fraud risks.
This is an ideal opportunity to start your career within a professional investigation service; preventing and detecting financial irregularity, avoidance, evasion and fraud, across the authority.
Essentially you will be assisting in developing a proactive program of investigations liaising with relevant council services, landlords, Housing Associations, DWP, other government bodies and local authorities as required in the course of data extraction and matching along with:
Updating our web pages.
Analysing and reviewing data matches from all sources including the National Fraud Initiative and the Kent Intelligence Network
As part of the Apprenticeship the successful post holder will be required to study the New Level 4 Intelligence Analyst, Apprenticeship Standard which is an 18 month vocational training contract. This works on the basis of you joining a cohort of at least 6 delegates. You will need to have level 2 English and maths in order to complete this programme and be committed to personal development.
In addition you will need to have:
- Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Confident and conscientious with the ability to be assertive when necessary.
