The Court Teams are responsible for undertaking all assessments and progressing care plans once care proceedings are issued. The work will involve adhering to court timescales and providing well written reports for court. Understanding a child's permanence and striving towards achieving this for the child is a primary focus.
This is an exciting opportunity for you as a Social Worker to develop. You will have at least one years PQ experience and a good understanding of how to apply different social work theories and models, which support ideas and the delivery of imaginative ambitious interventions that improve outcomes for children and young people. You will also have the communication skills to work with other agencies, represent the Local Authority in a variety of forums and present high-quality reports.
