“Happy to talk flexible working”
Do you have great marketing skills and enjoy meeting new people?
About The Role
This brand new role will involve working jointly with the Communications and Mole Valley Life Teams to promote all of Mole Valley Life’s services
The right candidate will have previous experience in marketing and be motivated, with an energetic, can-do attitude. We require someone who is happy to go out and about throughout the district with the teams, to help spread the word about what Mole Valley Life has to offer.
The role will be co-located at offices in Leatherhead and Dorking, so own transport is essential.
Work will involve basic administration and office tasks, but the majority of time will be spent working with both teams to promote Mole Valley Life. There are opportunities for writing engaging content for both Mole Valley Life’s social media channels and website.
In the Communications Team we pride ourselves on our innovative approaches and creative use of traditional and social media to run proactive campaigns to promote the work of Mole Valley District Council.
We run consultations and events across the district and are involved with extensive partnership work. We work with every service within Mole Valley, run multiple websites and social media sites, work with our Councillors, with residents and manage the communications and marketing for Dorking Halls.
We need someone who is able to work across two teams, using their marketing experience and communications skills to roll out our Mole Valley Life marketing plans. Initially a one year contract, we need someone who can learn fast and is happy to relate to people of all ages.
Adaptable and flexible, we seek someone friendly, with good social skills who is confident taking photos and video in the local area.

This is a 1 year fixed term contract working 22.2 hours / 3 days per week. The role requires the successful applicant to work across two sites one in Dorking and the other in Leatherhead so having your own transport is essential.
