In this newly created role of Bid Manager, you will play a significant role in the future of the Borough of Enfield and improve the life chances of our residents.
We are seeking an experienced bid writer or fund-raising professional who will be the Council’s lead in all bid development from managing agreed work programmes to horizon scanning for national and regional funding opportunities. Working in the Chief Executive’s department, as part of our Policy, Partnerships, Engagement and Consultation Service , your role will be to develop an exciting and consistent narrative to our bids, large and small, including working with our local community partners, in order to generate additional income that enhances the borough and our communities.
You will ideally be APMP accredited with demonstrable experience in writing and managing successful bids and funding applications. Self-motivated, at ease working on your own initiative and will possess the drive to build successful working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, along with excellent written and interpersonal skills to craft high quality material.
The role would be primarily based at the local authority offices in the borough, but a flexible working policy is in place to allow the successful candidate flexibility to work remotely when appropriate to do so.
