Grade CAS02 - £9.30 per hour

To cover vacant CCTV shifts, as required (worked on a 6 hour rota which may include nights, weekends and bank holidays)

 

Are you a good team worker who can also work alone…are you observant and a good judge of situations…a multi tasker, someone who enjoys a challenge and works well in pressurised situations…do you have an eye for detail and good written and verbal communication skills?

 

If so, you may be the person we are seeking to fill the above post, which is based at a Cannock Town Centre location.

 

You will receive in house training relating to the role, and you will also be required to complete a Security Industry Authority training course leading to a SIA licence qualification which is required to operate such systems.

 

You should be able to demonstrate confidentiality and reliablity when responding to incidents monitored, and be committed to the provision of quality CCTV monitoring in accordance with accepted high standards of customer care and service delivery.

 

In addition, you will be expected to have excellent communication skills when speaking to members of the public, council members and service partners.

 

This role also requires sufficient written and IT skills in order to complete manual and electronic logs and related information.

 

Any previous experience of CCTV systems and operations as well as holding an NVQ Level 2 in CCTV Operations (or equivalent vocational experience) is desirable to this post.

 

A Standard DBS Disclosure will be required for this post.
