£49,075 per annum (Teachers UPS plus TLR1 and one SEN Point) for 36 hours per week based at Consort House, 5-7 Queensway, Redhill, RH1 1YB.

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, resilient and innovative individual to co-ordinate and lead our highly motivated and effective A2E Team linked to Surrey's Inclusion Service.

The A2E Service offer flexible educational programmes of support to a range of school-aged learners. The Service looks to support children who are not accessing full time education provision and work with services, schools and families to integrate children successfully back into full time schooling

The Area Manager will directly line manage teachers and learning mentors to ensure that children not accessing full time education receive the widest possible curriculum offer. The position holder will also be expected to manage budgets that support the delivery of services for children who are currently not accessing a school placement

In this role, you will work proactively with services to build holistic action plans and packages of support for individual children and families. In addition, they will look to develop curriculum materials and creative ways for children not able to access their education entitlement to be able access a wide range of opportunities.

Promoting and developing effective liaison with a range of external professionals and services in supporting children out of school as well working collaboratively with Service Managers and schools will be an important part of this role.
