£23,951 per annum for 36 hours per week based at Guildford Borough Council, Millmead House, Millmead, Guilford, GU2 4BB. Flexibility to travel to other council offices will be required.
This is a fixed term or secondment opportunity until 31.12.2020.

This role is based within an area Finance Team (Guildford) but will be linked to a County Wide Learning Disability Team which will necessitate frequent visits to other Locality Offices.

The role of Finance Assistant involves working as part of a team providing financial support to ensure the efficient operation of an area Finance Team, to ensure it meets the needs of people who use the service and their Carers.
This key role involves processing invoices for services and payments and to ensure accurate and timely payment to suppliers, providers and people who use services. You will also support the team to prepare and reconcile monthly finance returns. You will also be responsible for processing and reconciling payments to clients to enable them to purchase their own care via a Direct Payment and manage payments in accordance with corporate and service policies and procedures.
