An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Digital Services team at a time of technological change across the Council.
You will be working in a small team to develop, implement and support the Council’s business systems with around 300 users to meet the organisations strategy.
Duties will be varied and will include working with managers and suppliers to analyse business requirements and develop sound solutions. You will be expected to have good project management skills in order to support the ICT work programme and other Service areas as necessary. You should have an enthusiastic and confident personality in order to develop and maintain excellent working relationships within the team and at all levels across the organisation working with customers of varying seniority and technical expertise.
The ICT Business Analyst team is responsible for supporting over 50 business systems across the Council and work closely with the Web Development team to deliver digital services to customers 24/7. You will be expected to have a graduate level of education or the professional equivalent in a relevant subject together with in depth knowledge and experience of development skills such as C# or visual basic. Knowledge or experience of CRM technologies is highly desirable. For the right candidate we will be able to offer training on the Council’s systems, in return you will need to demonstrate to us that you have a proven ability to learn new skills quickly and the necessary skills to resolve technical problems.
Occasional working out of normal office hours will be required, for which overtime is payable.
