The IT & Digital Service Hub Team has a vacancy for a Business Assistant to cover a colleague being promoted on Secondment within IT&D. The IT&D Service Hub provides IT Support to all ESCC Staff and partnership employees from the hours of 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
The role of the IT&D Business Assistant is very varied and an excellent opportunity to start your career within IT. You will be the first point of contact for walk-in customer queries providing customers with advice and support around their Software, Hardware, and iPhone questions and queries, and signposting them to the correct technical teams for technical help.
You'll use our ticket handling system (Cherwell) daily to log customer support tickets for their IT Issues, and assign on tickets to the correct support teams.
You'll work closely with other IT&D Teams who'll support you within your role, including our Purchasing & Contracts Team, 1st Line & 2nd Line Service Hub Teams, Access Team, and User Experience (Regional Field Engineers) Team.
You'll be involved with updating and creating documentation for our KnowHow! Knowledge System, IT&D Intranet Pages, and Service Catalogue which will often involve working with other teams to ensure the information is accurate.
Full training will be provided in our hardware, systems, and processes, so you don't need to come from an IT background.
