Licensing Technical Compliance Officer (ADC898)
£21,589 – £23,836 per annum
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
We are looking for a motivated, conscientious and enthusiastic team player to join our very busy Licensing Team based at the Council Offices in Kirkby in Ashfield.
Your role will be to facilitate applications, issue licences and permits, handle complaints about licence holders, carry out background compliance checks on applicants and applications, and to assist your colleagues in the Licensing Team with the general day-to-day activities of the Service.
You will provide advice by way of email, telephone and face-to-face meetings to the general public, licence holders and a wide range of stakeholders on licensing matters.
The Licensing Office is a very busy place to work, but it is also a very enjoyable and challenging role, and we are committed to training you and to helping you build a career.
The Team has gone through a period of significant modernisation and improvement over the last 2 years, and we are now looking to recruit a new colleague to be part of our future.
