Job Title: Customer Service Supervisor HCC13310
Location: Harpenden Library
Salary Range: £20,344 progressing to £22,462 pa (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 37 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity in a Customer Service Supervisor role at a busy library within a thriving community. You will be responsible for the delivery and promotion of all frontline services in Harpenden Library, ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained at all times. You will actively supervise the team, including management of staff appraisals, timetabling, training and development.
You will also support outreach and promotional activities within the community and the ambitions of the Inspiring Libraries Strategy.
To support the delivery of the Inspiring Libraries Strategy and the upcoming transition to Libraries for Life, motivating the team to promote the library to customers, partners and community organisations. Actively contribute in attracting more visitors through participation in outreach and promotional activities in the community, and via partnership working with relevant organisations and community groups.
