In Adult Social Care, we want every person in Central Bedfordshire to have responsive, customer-focused care and support – making this a great place to live and work. The role of the Senior Day Care Officer is important for achieving this.
As a Senior Day Care Officer, you will play a key part in ensuring that local and national guidance and requirements are adhered to. You will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting a team of Day Care Officers and you will be involved in monitoring the quality of the service, planning and implementing action plans and ensuring a high-quality service is always provided to users of the centre.
We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to make decisions and work under pressure. Experience of working in partnership with other professionals and agencies and an ability to recognise and respect the individuality of each customer is imperative. Ideally, you will have proven experience of managing or supervising a team and supporting vulnerable customers.
