Job Title: Business Intelligence and Systems Analyst
Location: Farnham House, Stevenage
Salary Range: £26,999 - £33,799 pa
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 2 Year fixed until 15.12.2019
We are looking for someone who has the knowledge and experience or transferable skills to contribute to producing, analysing and delivering performance information and is keen to develop those skills further. The successful candidate will support Post Hospital Review Teams, and the wider ACS Performance Framework with a focus on reablement services.
Forming part of our hospital Integrated Discharge Service, the Post Hospital Review Teams deliver social care to people requiring community-based support upon leaving hospital which is described as reablement services. As Business Intelligence and Systems Analyst supporting PHRTs, you would:
- Collect, collate and analyse data in relation to agreed Performance Indicators, produce monthly management information reports and monitor compliance with agreed business processes for the pathways the teams oversee.
- Undertake reporting and analysis to identify data quality issues, escalating these to Team Managers as needed and helping to take forward actions to resolve.
- Undertake periodic ‘deep dive’ audits to understand issues highlighted by analysis in more detail.
- Support the implementation of new systems and processes within post-hospital review teams.
You will also work closely with performance colleagues to monitor and deliver ACS performance including the collection, collation, analysis and presentation of adult social care performance and management information. Your work will help inform the department’s understanding of its own performance and performance improvement priorities.
The role requires good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s and other data manipulation) and the ability to process, summarise and organise complex datasets. Experience of using SAP Business Objects would be advantageous. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to present data in effective and engaging ways are key attributes.
You will possess excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to make data understandable and meaningful as well as an ability to prioritise and manage workloads to meet deadlines is essential.
