Education, Health and Care Co-Ordinator
Croydon has aspirations for all children and young people with SEN and practitioners work hard to ensure that young people achieve independence in or near their local community. Croydon’s SEN Service is expanding and we are seeking practitioners who are committed to children and young people with SEN to help us take forward our vision.
Croydon’s Education, Health and Care (EHC) Co-ordinators co-ordinate EHC needs assessment for children with special educational needs; administrate EHC Plans, including annual reviews and transfer from one phase of education to another. EHC Co-ordinators work in partnership with parents, young people, schools and colleges.
If appointed you will be joining an established SEN Service with a strong ethos of collaborative working. EHC Co-ordinators have a working knowledge of SEN legislation, excellent written communication skills and good time management. Croydon is committed to providing EHC Co-ordinators with support and training.
